Xavion Torrico vs Asif Lodi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/02/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Xavion Torrico (20 - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Asif Lodi(5 - 3) from Aba, Nigeria.  

Round 1: 

Torrico steps inside.  Lodi tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lodi lands a right uppercut.  
Torrico is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right.

Lodi tries to keep the action at long range.  Torrico lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Torrico tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Torrico closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Torrico lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Torrico throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lodi is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Torrico is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Lodi is looking to close the distance.  Lodi pivots from in front of his opponent, but Torrico lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lodi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lodi tries to land a jab, but Torrico sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Lodi steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Lodi is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Torrico lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.
