Seth Peddie vs Mfon Akabusi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/02/2039 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Seth Peddie (36 - 20) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Mfon Akabusi(2 - 1) from Ilorin, Nigeria.  

Round 1: 

Akabusi sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Peddie lands a jab.  
Peddie lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Peddie is looking to close the distance.  Akabusi lands a firm right hook.  Peddie holds on to his opponent.  Peddie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Akabusi behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Peddie steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Akabusi is on target with a left hook.  
Akabusi attempts to land a jab, but Peddie sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Peddie digs in a firm left hook to Akabusi's body.  Peddie throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Peddie is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Akabusi is looking to close the distance.  Peddie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Peddie clinches his opponent.  Peddie pushes his forearm into Akabusi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Peddie.  
Peddie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Akabusi is on target with a solid left uppercut.

Peddie steps to the outside.  Peddie feints a left hook, and then connects with a firm cross.  Peddie throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Akabusi attempts to land a cross, but Peddie sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Akabusi throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Akabusi closes the distance.  Akabusi sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Peddie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Peddie steps to the outside.  Akabusi lands a cross.  
Peddie advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Peddie sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Akabusi throws a left hook, but Peddie holds on to his opponent.  Peddie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Akabusi attempts to land a jab, but Peddie blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Akabusi lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Akabusi closes the distance and forces Peddie to back into the ropes.  Akabusi lands a sharp left hook.
