Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/02/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Disla (40 - 11) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Ulises Mena(2 - 8) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Mena pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Disla steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Disla throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Mena throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Disla time to recover.  
Mena is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a stiff jab.

Disla closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Disla ties up his opponent.  Disla uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mena behind the head. The ref breaks Disla's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Disla lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mena recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Disla advances into close range and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Disla is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Disla lands a left hook.  Disla clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mena pushes his forearm into Disla's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mena to stop fouling.  
Mena tries to keep the action at long range.  Disla connects with a sharp cross.

Disla is on target with a stinging jab.  
Disla is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Mena sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mena tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Disla lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, KNOCKING MENA DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Disla!
