Yuichi Hirai vs Eiji Goya

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/03/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Yuichi Hirai (56 - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Eiji Goya(1 - 5) from Tokyo, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Goya sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Goya attempts to land a jab, but Hirai slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Hirai closes the distance.  Hirai sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Goya sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Hirai is on target with a solid cross.  
Goya tries to land a jab, but Hirai slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Goya's body.  
Goya pivots to the left of his opponent, but Hirai lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Goya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hirai hits home with a cross.  
Hirai steps inside and hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Hirai lands with a solid jab.  Hirai throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Goya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Hirai lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hirai gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hirai manages to force Goya into the corner.  Hirai lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hirai hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Hirai tries to land a left hook, but Goya blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Goya sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Goya throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Hirai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Hirai is on target with a right uppercut.  Hirai tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Hirai pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Goya sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Hirai lands with a stinging jab.  
Hirai is looking to close the distance.  Hirai leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Goya is whaling away with hooks, but Hirai keeps his defence tight.  
Goya pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Hirai advances into close range.  Goya pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Goya attempts to land a right hook, but Hirai parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hirai steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Hirai clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hirai pushes his forearm into Goya's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hirai about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hirai's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
