Boxing Daily Report from the Ecuador National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/03/2039 from Duran, Ecuador:

The Duran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Larenzo Ruis (21(1) - 5) who hails from Cuenco, Ecuador and Zacarias Monzon(0 - 1) from Cuenco, Ecuador.  

Round 1:

Monzon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.

Ruis pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Monzon's body.  
Monzon pivots from in front of his opponent, but Ruis lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Ruis is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Monzon is looking to keep his distance.  Ruis lands a ramrod jab.  
Monzon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Ruis lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Monzon pivots from in front of his opponent, but Ruis hits home with a cross.  
Ruis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Monzon is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Ruis gets on the inside and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Ruis is on target with a right hook.  
Monzon throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Monzon throws a left hook, but Ruis holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ruis sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Ruis lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ruis drives a right hook into Monzon's body.

Ruis steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ruis throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ruis holds on to his opponent.  Ruis tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Monzon behind the head. Ruis hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Ruis and breaks the clinch.  
Monzon tries to land a right hook, but Ruis sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Monzon steps away from his opponent.  Ruis finds the target with a jab.  
Ruis throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Ruis ties up his opponent.  Ruis is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ruis lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Monzon's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Monzon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Ruis closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ruis advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Ruis lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head, AND DROPS MONZON TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Monzon cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ruis!
