Boxing Daily Report from the Colombia National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/03/2039 from Itagui, Colombia:

The Itagui venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joaquin Espin (20(3) - 8) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Rodrigo Martinez(1 - 0) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  

Round 1:

Martinez manages to force Espin onto the ropes.  Martinez tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Espin is on target with a HUGE cross.  MARTINEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Espin is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Espin is on target with a SAVAGE right hook.  MARTINEZ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Martinez now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
