Boxing Daily Report from the Argentina National Finals 2039,  taking place on 14/03/2039 from Mendoza, Argentina:

The Mendoza venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.

Ascencio steps inside and walks Vallez onto the ropes.  Vallez throws a left hook, but Ascencio ties up his opponent.  Ascencio pushes his forearm into Vallez's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ascencio.  
Ascencio lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Vallez switches the action to the outside and hits home with a firm cross.  
Ascencio sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Vallez's body.  
Ascencio feints a jab, but Vallez does not fall for it and lands with a left hook.  
Vallez is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Vallez is looking to keep his distance.  Ascencio snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Vallez lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Vallez tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a cross.

Ascencio sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Vallez connects with a sharp cross.

Ascencio lands a jab followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Vallez almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ascencio forces Vallez to back into a corner.  Vallez hits home with a cross.  Vallez throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Vallez's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Vallez switches the action to the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
Vallez finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Ascencio connects with a cross.  
Ascencio lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Vallez tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Ascencio lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Vallez quickly recovers. 
Ascencio lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS VALLEZ DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Ascencio!
