Deshi Wen vs Shen Chi

Boxing Daily Report from the China National Finals 2039,  taking place on 14/03/2039 from Linyi, China:

The Linyi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Deshi Wen (2 - 0) who hails from Nanchang, China and Shen Chi(24 - 17(1)) from Beijing, China.  

Round 1:

Chi is looking to close the distance.  Wen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Chi forces Wen to back into a neutral corner.  Wen tries to land a left hook, but Chi sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to his opponents body.

Chi gets on the inside.  Chi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.

Chi gets on the inside.  Chi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Wen switches the action to the outside.  Chi lands a firm overhand left.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Chi's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
