Jose Nicolas vs Sierra Chavez

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2039,  taking place on 14/03/2039 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jose Nicolas (32(1) - 11(2)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Sierra Chavez(18 - 9) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Nicolas pivots from in front of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Nicolas advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Nicolas lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Chavez lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolas lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Nicolas hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Nicolas closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Chavez finds the target with a jab.  Chavez throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nicolas advances into close range.  Chavez throws a right uppercut, but Nicolas ties up his opponent.  Nicolas uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Chavez's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nicolas about fouling.  
Nicolas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Chavez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Nicolas lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Nicolas steps inside.  Nicolas pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Nicolas lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nicolas lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Nicolas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nicolas pushes his forearm into Chavez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nicolas about fouling.  
Chavez lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Nicolas lands a hard jab.  Nicolas tries to land a cross, but Chavez slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Chavez cuts off the ring, trapping Nicolas on the ropes.  Nicolas finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Nicolas is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Nicolas is on target with a sharp left hook.  Nicolas throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Nicolas's body.  
Nicolas walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Nicolas drives a right uppercut into Chavez's body.  
Nicolas lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Nicolas thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Chavez away.  Nicolas lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head, AND DROPS CHAVEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Nicolas EXPLODES a mean left hook into his opponents face.  CHAVEZ IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Chavez now seems to have his senses back.

Chavez drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Nicolas lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolas is looking to close the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook to Chavez's liver.  
Nicolas pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Chavez's ribs.  
Nicolas lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Nicolas closes the distance and lands a powerful left hook.  CHAVEZ IS HURT!  Chavez quickly recovers. 
Chavez is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Nicolas manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nicolas pivots to the right of his opponent.  Nicolas throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Nicolas clinches his opponent.  Nicolas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Nicolas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nicolas pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Chavez throws a left hook, but Nicolas clinches his opponent.  Chavez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nicolas pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Chavez's body.  
Nicolas forces Chavez to back into a corner.  Nicolas lands a right hook.  
Nicolas lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nicolas hits home with a left hook.  
Nicolas pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Nicolas closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
