Matt Steele vs Oscar Michie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/03/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (10 - 11) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Oscar Michie(1 - 1) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Steele lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Steele tries to keep the action at long range and lands a stiff jab.  
Michie advances into close range.  Steele lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Michie sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Steele is on target with a left uppercut.  
Michie tries to land a right hook, but Steele blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Steele steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Steele hits home with an overhand right.  
Steele tries to step out of his opponents range and finds the target with a jab.

Michie closes the distance.  Michie pivots to the right of his opponent.  Michie throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Michie throws a right uppercut, but Steele clinches his opponent.  Steele leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Steele pushes his forearm into Michie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Steele to stop fouling.
