Clint Edwards vs Dave Weston

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/03/2039 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Clint Edwards (12 - 13) who hails from North Las Vegas, USA and Dave Weston(0 - 2) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Weston steps to the outside and lands a stinging cross.  
Weston feints a left hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Weston quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Edwards lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Edwards tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Edwards's body.  
Weston connects with a cross.  
Edwards advances into close range.  Edwards sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Weston's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Edwards throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Edwards clinches his opponent.  Edwards leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Edwards pushes his forearm into Weston's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Edwards to stop fouling.  
Edwards is on target with an overhand right.  
Weston tries to step out of his opponents range.  Weston sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Edwards lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Edwards is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Edwards attempts to land an overhand right, but Weston sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Weston goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Edwards's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
