Lisandro Trinadad vs Valeri Orlov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/03/2039 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lisandro Trinadad (35(1) - 11) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Valeri Orlov(1 - 5) from Kiev, Ukraine.  

Round 1: 

Orlov connects with a left hook.  
Trinadad pivots to the right of his opponent, but Orlov is on target with a left hook.  
Orlov closes the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Trinadad clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Orlov pushes his forearm into Trinadad's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Orlov.  
Trinadad is on target with a left hook.  Trinadad holds on to his opponent.  Orlov leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Trinadad's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Trinadad throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Orlov sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Trinadad connects with a cross.  
Trinadad hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Orlov lands a cross.  
Trinadad closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.  
Trinadad lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Trinadad lands a left hook.  
Trinadad tries to land a jab, but Orlov sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Orlov sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Trinadad tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Orlov steps inside.  Trinadad lands a sharp left hook.  
Trinadad lands a left hook.  
Orlov sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Trinadad hits home with a cross.  
Orlov is on target with a right hook.  
Trinadad is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Trinadad lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Trinadad advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Trinadad clinches his opponent.  Trinadad leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Trinadad pushes his forearm into Orlov's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Trinadad to stop fouling.

Trinadad advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Trinadad connects with a solid cross.  
Trinadad closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Trinadad is looking to close the distance.  Orlov lands a right hook.  Trinadad holds on to his opponent.  Trinadad leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Orlov sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Trinadad digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Trinadad advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook to Orlov's body.  
Trinadad whips in a spiteful left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE ORLOV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Trinadad knows Orlov is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Trinadad lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Trinadad gets on the inside.  Trinadad is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Trinadad lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND SENDS ORLOV TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Trinadad!
