Joel Scrivener vs Leonardo Fanucchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/03/2039 from Macon, USA:

The Macon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joel Scrivener (52 - 9) who hails from Atlanta, USA and Leonardo Fanucchi(5 - 19) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Scrivener pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a solid left hook.

Scrivener gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.

Scrivener closes the distance.  Fanucchi connects with a left hook.  Scrivener ties up his opponent.  Fanucchi leans on his opponent using all his weight. Fanucchi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Fanucchi to stop fouling.  
Scrivener throws a left uppercut, but is off-target.  Scrivener clinches his opponent.  Scrivener is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Scrivener is on target with a jab.  
Fanucchi gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  Scrivener clinches his opponent.  Fanucchi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Scrivener's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Fanucchi is on target with a left hook.  
Scrivener digs in a firm left hook to Fanucchi's liver.  
Fanucchi tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Scrivener quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Scrivener closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Fanucchi is on target with a right hook.  Scrivener holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Scrivener pushes his forearm into Fanucchi's face.  The referee warns Scrivener and breaks the clinch.
