Boxing Daily Report from the Greece National Finals 2039,  taking place on 26/03/2039 from Patrai, Greece:

The Patrai venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Darrian Kakos (7 - 7(1)) who hails from Patrai, Greece and Perseus Nicolas(12(3) - 8) from Thessaloniki, Greece.  

Round 1: 

Kakos steps to the outside.  Kakos sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Kakos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nicolas closes the distance and walks Kakos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nicolas attempts to land a right hook, but Kakos blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut to Nicolas's liver.

Kakos switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Nicolas advances into close range and forces Kakos to back into the corner.  Nicolas digs in a stinging left uppercut to Kakos's body.  
Nicolas pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Nicolas drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Nicolas is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kakos tries to land a left hook, but Nicolas sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nicolas lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Nicolas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nicolas pushes his forearm into Kakos's face.  The ref breaks Nicolas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Kakos almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Nicolas lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Nicolas pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Nicolas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nicolas digs in a firm left uppercut to Kakos's body.  
Nicolas lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Nicolas manouvers Kakos onto the ropes.  Nicolas lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Nicolas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kakos throws a right hook, but Nicolas clinches his opponent.  Kakos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kakos about fouling.  
Nicolas lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  Nicolas ties up his opponent.  Nicolas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Nicolas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nicolas digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Nicolas drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Nicolas drives a stinging left uppercut into Kakos's ribs.  KAKOS IS HURT!  
Kakos now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Nicolas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kakos switches the action to the outside and is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Nicolas walks Kakos down, trapping him on the ropes.  Nicolas lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Nicolas clinches his opponent.  Nicolas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Nicolas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Nicolas connects with a firm left hook.  
Kakos throws a left hook, but Nicolas clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nicolas pushes his forearm into Kakos's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Nicolas.  
Nicolas crashes a big right hook to Kakos's body.  KAKOS WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Nicolas is looking to close the distance and whips in a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  It looks like Kakos has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Nicolas is on target with a HUGE right uppercut.  KAKOS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Nicolas gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND KAKOS IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Kakos cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Nicolas!
