Declan Magcalas vs Alen Talavera

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/03/2039 from Cebu City, Philippines:

The Cebu City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Declan Magcalas (7 - 15) who hails from San Jose del Monte, Philippines and Alen Talavera(5 - 3) from Cebu City, Philippines.  

Round 1: 

Magcalas lands a cross.

Magcalas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Magcalas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Talavera gets on the inside and forces Magcalas to retreat onto the ropes.  Talavera pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Magcalas steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Talavera tries to tag Magcalas on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Talavera steps inside.  Talavera sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Talavera is on target with a right uppercut to Magcalas's body.  Talavera tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.
