Rashid Rashed vs Jay Boakye

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2039,  taking place on 29/03/2039 from Tamale, Ghana:

The Tamale venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rashid Rashed (5 - 5) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Jay Boakye(23(7) - 16) from Takoradi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Boakye advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Rashed tries to step out of his opponents range.  Boakye lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Boakye steps inside and manages to force Rashed onto the ropes.  Rashed throws a right hook, but Boakye ties up his opponent.  Boakye is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Boakye tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Rashed's kidney. 
Boakye lands a left uppercut.  Boakye clinches his opponent.  Boakye is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Boakye about fouling.

Rashed throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Boakye holds on to his opponent.  Rashed uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Boakye's kidney. Rashed is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rashed about fouling.
