Boxing Daily Report from the India National Finals 2039,  taking place on 29/03/2039 from Bangalore, India:

The Bangalore venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Haider Baksh (15(1) - 5) who hails from Kanpur, India and Mandeep Parikh(2 - 1) from Kolkata, India.  

Round 1:

Baksh gets on the inside.  Baksh pivots to the side of his opponent and whips in a big left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PARIKH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Baksh senses Parikh is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Baksh crashes a hurtful left uppercut to Parikh's body.  PARIKH HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Parikh now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
