Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2039,  taking place on 29/03/2039 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Peter Trott (46(2) - 13) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Brad Myres(26(2) - 5) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Trott hits home with a cross.

Myres now seems to have his senses back.  
Myres finds the target with a jab.  Myres tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Myres pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a hard jab.  
Trott steps to the outside.  Myres lands a solid cross.  Myres attempts to land a cross, but Trott blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful left uppercut.  MYRES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Myres quickly recovers. 
Trott connects with a cross.  
Trott is looking to keep his distance.  Trott feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Trott lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Myres quickly recovers. 
Myres walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Myres hits home with a solid cross.  
Myres is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Myres's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Trott lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Trott is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Trott is on target with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  MYRES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Trott!
