Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2039,  taking place on 29/03/2039 from Kingston, Jamaica:

The Kingston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joseph Watters (30 - 9) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Mel Hall(22 - 9) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Hall sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.

Watters throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Hall advances into close range.  Hall sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Watters digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Watters throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.

Watters is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp cross.

Hall is looking to close the distance.  Watters lands a right hook.  Hall holds on to his opponent.  Watters leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Watters pushes his forearm into Hall's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
