Tariq Nahas vs Majid Taha

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/03/2039 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Tariq Nahas (14 - 23) who hails from New Delhi, India and Majid Taha(6 - 9) from Lucknow, India.  

Round 1: 

Nahas lands a cross.  
Taha lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Taha pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Nahas steps away from his opponent and connects with an overhand right.  
Taha walks Nahas onto the ropes.  Taha pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nahas throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Taha tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Nahas steps inside.  Nahas digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  Nahas attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Taha to the neutral corner.  He has a stern word with Nahas and threatens a point deduction if continues to foul.  
Nahas steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Taha drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Taha lands a cross.  
Nahas is looking to keep his distance.  Taha snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Taha lands with a stinging jab.  
Taha quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Nahas hits home with a stinging cross.  
Nahas steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Nahas steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but Taha parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Taha is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land an overhand left, but Nahas blocks the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Nahas gets on the inside.  Taha attempts to land a left hook, but Nahas blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Taha lands with a spiteful jab.  Taha throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Taha is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Taha's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
