Shinji Kobashigawa vs Goro Hora

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/04/2039 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shinji Kobashigawa (40(8) - 11) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Goro Hora(6 - 14) from Sendai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Kobashigawa is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Hora is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hora feints a right, and then connects with a cross.  
Kobashigawa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hora throws a right hook, but Kobashigawa clinches his opponent.  Kobashigawa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hora pivots from in front of his opponent.  Hora tries to land a jab, but Kobashigawa slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Hora steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kobashigawa closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Kobashigawa pushes his forearm into Hora's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kobashigawa about fouling.  
Hora quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid right uppercut.  
Kobashigawa steps inside.  Kobashigawa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kobashigawa goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Hora time to recover.  
Kobashigawa lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Hora quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hora throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Hora cuts off the ring, trapping Kobashigawa on the ropes.  Kobashigawa lands a right hook.  
Kobashigawa is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Kobashigawa attempts to land a left hook, but Hora blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hora throws a right hook, but Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Kobashigawa leans on his opponent using all his weight. Kobashigawa tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Hora behind the head. 
Kobashigawa is looking to close the distance and lands a solid left uppercut.  
Hora pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Kobashigawa steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Kobashigawa ties up his opponent.  Hora uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kobashigawa behind the head. Kobashigawa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Kobashigawa is looking to close the distance and lands a stinging left hook.  
Hora finds the target with a jab.  
Hora tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a cross.  
Kobashigawa tries to land a jab, but Hora slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.
