Joseph Erwood vs Ashley Dull

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/04/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joseph Erwood (28 - 9) who hails from Tampa, USA and Ashley Dull(3 - 25(1)) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Erwood is on target with a stiff jab.

Erwood steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dull attempts to land a right hook, but Erwood parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dull gets on the inside.  Erwood hits home with a right hook.  
Dull steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  Erwood ties up his opponent.  Erwood tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Dull's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dull advances into close range and throws a right hook, but Erwood ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Dull pushes his forearm into Erwood's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Erwood is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Dull hits home with a left uppercut.  
Dull tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Dull sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Erwood throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Erwood ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Dull gets on the inside and manouvers Erwood onto the ropes.  Dull throws a right hook, but Erwood holds on to his opponent.  Dull pushes his forearm into Erwood's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dull about fouling.
