Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/04/2039 from Puebla, Mexico:

The Puebla venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Jacome (19(4) - 10) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Juan Anselmo(7 - 13) from Juarez, Mexico.  

Round 1:

Anselmo throws a left hook, but Jacome ties up his opponent.  Jacome is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Jacome's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Jacome lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Jacome clinches his opponent.  Jacome is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Jacome gets on the inside.  Jacome pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Jacome lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS ANSELMO TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Anselmo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Jacome lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Jacome pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Jacome lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Jacome knows Anselmo is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Jacome lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND ANSELMO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Jacome!
