Boxing Daily Report from the Panama National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/04/2039 from Panama City, Panama:

The Panama City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lorenzo Apollo (3 - 2) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Xavier Cancino(31(5) - 6) from San Miguelito, Panama.

Cancino walks his opponent into a corner.  Cancino drives a powerful right hook into his opponents ribs.  APOLLO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cancino holds on to his opponent.  Cancino is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cancino uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Apollo's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Apollo quickly recovers. 
Apollo throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Cancino holds on to his opponent.  Apollo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cancino connects with a left uppercut.  
Cancino lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cancino throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Apollo switches the action to the outside.  Cancino finds the target with a spiteful jab.  It looks like Apollo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Cancino is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Apollo's liver.
