Boxing Daily Report from the Poland National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/04/2039 from Szczecin, Poland:

The Szczecin venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sergiusz Sobotka (14 - 14(1)) who hails from Katowice, Poland and Hubert Walczak(18(6) - 13) from Warsaw, Poland.  

Round 1: 

Sobotka connects with a cross.

Walczak sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sobotka attempts to land a right hook, but Walczak slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Walczak drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  Walczak holds on to his opponent.  Walczak is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sobotka is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Walczak lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Walczak closes the distance.  Sobotka throws a right hook, but Walczak holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Walczak pushes his forearm into Sobotka's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Walczak about fouling.  
Walczak forces Sobotka to back into the ropes.  Walczak lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sobotka is on target with a right hook.  
Sobotka tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land a jab, but Walczak slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Walczak gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to Sobotka's liver.  
Walczak advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.

Sobotka steps to the outside and is on target with a jab.  Sobotka tries to land a jab, but Walczak sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Walczak advances into close range and walks Sobotka down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sobotka connects with a right hook.  
Walczak lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Walczak manouvers Sobotka into the corner.  Walczak lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING SOBOTKA DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Sobotka hits home with a stinging left hook.  Sobotka now seems to have got his legs back.  
Walczak is on target with a right hook.  Walczak ties up his opponent.  Walczak tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sobotka behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Walczak to stop fouling.  
Walczak pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Walczak steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Sobotka recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Walczak steps inside and digs in a potent left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE SOBOTKA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sobotka quickly recovers. 
Walczak manouvers Sobotka onto the ropes.  Walczak lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body, DROPPING SOBOTKA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Walczak connects with a WICKED left hook.  SOBOTKA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Sobotka almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Walczak is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  Walczak holds on to his opponent.  Walczak leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Walczak lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Walczak walks Sobotka down, trapping him in a corner.  Walczak lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Sobotka tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Walczak lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sobotka recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
