Fraco Leonardo vs Ora Barbara

Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2039,  taking place on 14/04/2039 from Huacho, Peru:

The Huacho venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fraco Leonardo (10 - 9(1)) who hails from Lima, Peru and Ora Barbara(47(15) - 13) from Trujillo, Peru.  

Round 1: 

Barbara advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Leonardo almost instantly gets his legs back.

Barbara steps inside.  Leonardo drives a left uppercut into Barbara's liver.

Leonardo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Barbara throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Leonardo hits home with an overhand right.  Leonardo tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Barbara is looking to close the distance.  Leonardo throws a right hook, but Barbara clinches his opponent.  Barbara leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Barbara is on target with a cross.  
Leonardo digs in a firm right hook to Barbara's body.  Barbara holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Barbara pushes his forearm into Leonardo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Barbara about fouling.  
Barbara sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Barbara gets on the inside.  Barbara pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Leonardo switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Barbara steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Barbara closes the distance.  Leonardo is on target with a right hook.  
Barbara hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  Barbara throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Barbara lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Leonardo is looking to keep his distance.  Barbara lands a HUGE cross.  LEONARDO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.

Leonardo is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Leonardo's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Leonardo steps to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  
Leonardo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Barbara hits home with an overhand left.  
Barbara steps inside and walks Leonardo into a neutral corner.  Barbara lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Barbara is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  Barbara clinches his opponent.  Barbara is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Barbara sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Barbara lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Barbara holds on to his opponent.  Leonardo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Leonardo to stop fouling.  
Leonardo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Barbara pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Barbara lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Leonardo tries to keep the action at long range.  Barbara stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Barbara lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS LEONARDO DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  It looks like Leonardo has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Barbara lands a MASSIVE cross.  LEONARDO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Leonardo almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Barbara closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Barbara holds on to his opponent.  Barbara throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Barbara is looking to close the distance.  Barbara pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Barbara EXPLODES a hurtful left uppercut into his opponents face.  LEONARDO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Barbara!
