Boxing Daily Report from the Panama National Finals 2039,  taking place on 17/04/2039 from Panama City, Panama:

The Panama City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alejandro Paulino (15 - 7) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Juan Rodriquez(24(1) - 21) from Panama City, Panama.  

Round 1: 

Rodriquez closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Rodriquez lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Rodriquez cuts off the ring, trapping Paulino on the ropes.  Rodriquez is on target with a firm left hook.  
Rodriquez lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Paulino lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Paulino steps to the outside.  Paulino feints a jab, and then lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Rodriquez advances into close range and throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Rodriquez holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rodriquez pushes his forearm into Paulino's face.  The referee warns Rodriquez and breaks the clinch.  
Rodriquez lands a left hook.  
Paulino drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Rodriquez lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Paulino is looking to keep his distance and connects with a firm cross.  
Rodriquez advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Paulino's liver.  
Paulino lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Rodriquez lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Rodriquez pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Paulino steps to the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Rodriquez advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Rodriquez clinches his opponent.  Rodriquez tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Paulino behind the head. The ref breaks Rodriquez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Paulino quickly recovers. 
Paulino is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Paulino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Rodriquez gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Rodriquez is on target with a solid left uppercut.  Rodriquez clinches his opponent.  Rodriquez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Rodriquez throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Rodriquez holds on to his opponent.  Rodriquez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Paulino hits home with a right hook.  
Rodriquez is on target with a firm right hook to Paulino's ribcage.  
Rodriquez lands a left hook.  
Rodriquez manages to force Paulino onto the ropes.  Rodriquez lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Rodriquez holds on to his opponent.  Rodriquez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rodriquez lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Paulino lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Paulino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a stinging jab.

Rodriquez hits home with a left hook.  Rodriquez throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Rodriquez forces Paulino to retreat onto the ropes.  Rodriquez lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Paulino lands a jab.  
Paulino drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Rodriquez gets on the inside.  Rodriquez sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Rodriquez drives a left hook into Paulino's ribs.  Rodriquez ties up his opponent.  Rodriquez uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Paulino's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rodriquez to stop fouling.  
Rodriquez lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Rodriquez is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Rodriquez lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND PAULINO IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Paulino has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Rodriquez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Paulino lands a jab.  
Rodriquez closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Rodriquez is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Rodriquez attempts to land a right hook, but Paulino sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Rodriquez advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Rodriquez lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rodriquez lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Rodriquez digs in a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Rodriquez drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Rodriquez lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Paulino pivots from in front of his opponent.  Paulino throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Paulino throws a left hook, but Rodriquez clinches his opponent.  Paulino pushes his forearm into Rodriquez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Paulino about fouling.  
Paulino switches the action to the outside and drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Rodriquez lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Rodriquez stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Rodriquez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND PAULINO IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Paulino cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Rodriquez!
