Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 20/04/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are James Mun (79(40) - 14) who hails from Port St. Lucie, USA and Robert Bardsley(0 - 6(2)) from Portland, USA.  

Round 1: 

Mun advances into close range and attempts to land a right uppercut, but Bardsley blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mun lands a cross.  
Mun sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Mun is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Mun lands a cross.  
Mun advances into close range.  Bardsley is on target with a left hook.  
Mun throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Mun holds on to his opponent.  Mun pushes his forearm into Bardsley's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mun lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mun is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mun sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Bardsley throws a left hook, but Mun ties up his opponent.  Mun leans on his opponent using all his weight. Bardsley is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Bardsley and breaks the clinch.  
Mun walks Bardsley onto the ropes.  Bardsley throws a right uppercut, but Mun clinches his opponent.  Mun leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mun is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Bardsley lands a jab.  Bardsley tries to land a jab, but Mun slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bardsley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Mun hits home with a stinging cross.  
Mun is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mun pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Bardsley's body.  
Mun gets on the inside.  Mun quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mun lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mun holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Mun's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Bardsley recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mun digs in a stinging right uppercut to Bardsley's body.  BARDSLEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Mun knows Bardsley is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Mun lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS BARDSLEY DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  It looks like Bardsley has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Mun is looking to close the distance and digs in a potent left hook to Bardsley's body.  BARDSLEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Bardsley recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mun steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Mun is on target with a firm left hook.  
Mun forces Bardsley to retreat onto the ropes.  Mun lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Mun advances into close range.  Bardsley throws a left hook, but Mun clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mun pushes his forearm into Bardsley's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mun about fouling.  
Mun lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Mun sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Bardsley throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Mun lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mun holds on to his opponent.  Mun leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Bardsley uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mun behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.
