Dong-jun Hong vs Fausto Morones

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/05/2039 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dong-jun Hong (21 - 23) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Fausto Morones(5 - 9(2)) from Leon, Nicaragua.  

Round 1: 

Hong closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hong advances into close range and lands a stinging right hook.  
Hong lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Hong lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hong steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hong cuts off the ring, trapping Morones on the ropes.  Hong lands a firm left hook.  
Morones is on target with a firm right hook.  
Morones sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Morones attempts to land a jab, but Hong blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Morones finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Hong advances into close range and walks Morones down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hong lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Hong holds on to his opponent.  Morones throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Morones and breaks the clinch.

Hong closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hong drives a right uppercut into Morones's body.  Hong holds on to his opponent.  Morones pushes his forearm into Hong's face.  The referee warns Morones and breaks the clinch.  
Hong advances into close range and connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Hong forces Morones to back into the ropes.  Hong connects with a stinging left hook.  
Hong is on target with a left uppercut to Morones's body.  
Morones throws a right hook, but Hong clinches his opponent.  Hong leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Hong's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hong hits home with a left uppercut.  
Hong lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hong is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hong is on target with a right uppercut.

Hong digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  Hong throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hong gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Morones tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Hong closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Hong is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Hong walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Morones throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Hong advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hong slams a nasty right hook into Morones's ribs.  MORONES WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hong ties up his opponent.  Morones is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  Morones almost instantly recovers. 
Morones lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Hong gets on the inside and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Hong lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hong lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Hong walks Morones onto the ropes.  Hong senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Hong lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MORONES DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Hong!
