Dario Corzo vs Onofre Tejada

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 09/05/2039 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dario Corzo (36 - 3) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Onofre Tejada(4 - 29) from Leon, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Corzo gets on the inside.  Tejada drives a left hook into Corzo's liver.

Corzo advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.

Corzo attempts to land a jab, but Tejada dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Corzo connects with a solid right uppercut.

Corzo retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Tejada throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Tejada steps away from his opponent.  Corzo is on target with a stiff jab.  
Corzo lands a jab.  
Corzo advances into close range and drives a left uppercut into Tejada's body.  
Tejada sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Corzo throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Corzo lands a jab.  
Corzo is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Tejada lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tejada sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Corzo connects with a solid right hook.  
Corzo tries to land a right hook, but Tejada sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Tejada connects with a left uppercut.  
Tejada throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tejada quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Corzo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Tejada sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Corzo lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Corzo gets on the inside.  Tejada throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Corzo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
