Richard Egerton vs Paul Callison

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/05/2039 from El Paso, USA:

The El Paso venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Richard Egerton (15 - 3) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Paul Callison(2 - 21) from Detroit, USA.  

Round 1: 

Callison finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Egerton gets on the inside.  Egerton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Egerton drives a stinging left hook into his opponents liver.  
Egerton finds the target with a jab.  
Callison forces Egerton to retreat onto the ropes.  Callison pivots to the left of his opponent, but Egerton lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Callison lands a left uppercut.  
Callison digs in a left uppercut to Egerton's liver.  
Egerton is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Egerton tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Callison steps inside.  Egerton throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Callison's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Egerton gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Egerton switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Egerton switches the action to the outside.  Callison tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Callison's body.  
Egerton lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Egerton finds the target with a jab.  Egerton tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Egerton is looking to close the distance.  Egerton quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Callison lands a left hook.

Callison pivots from in front of his opponent, but Egerton lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Egerton voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Callison steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Egerton lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
