Xavion Torrico vs DuÜan Komenda

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 28/05/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Xavion Torrico (24 - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and DuÜan Komenda(2 - 2) from Plzen, Czech Republic.  

Round 1: 

Torrico is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a firm cross.  
Komenda is looking to close the distance.  Torrico is on target with a left hook.  
Komenda closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Torrico is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Torrico is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Komenda forces Torrico to retreat onto the ropes.  Komenda lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Komenda steps inside and forces Torrico to retreat onto the ropes.  Torrico is on target with a firm left hook.  Torrico tries to land a right hook, but Komenda blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Torrico switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Torrico lands a spiteful jab.  
Torrico switches the action to the outside.  Torrico feints a left, and then drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Komenda gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp left hook.

Komenda hits home with a firm right hook.  Torrico ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Komenda is looking to close the distance and forces Torrico to retreat onto the ropes.  Komenda is on target with a right hook.  
Torrico switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Komenda advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Komenda gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but Torrico ties up his opponent.  Torrico pushes his forearm into Komenda's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Torrico to stop fouling.  
Torrico lands an overhand right followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Torrico feints a left hook, and then lands with a hard jab.
