Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/05/2039 from Changwon, South Korea:

The Changwon venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hyun-soo Quon (12 - 9) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Kei Shibata(6 - 7(1)) from Sendai, Japan.

Shibata switches the action to the outside.  Quon lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Shibata lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Quon is on target with a left uppercut.  
Quon lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Shibata sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Quon lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Shibata pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Quon closes the distance and hits home with a left hook.  Quon ties up his opponent.  Quon pushes his forearm into Shibata's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Quon.

Quon walks Shibata onto the ropes.  Shibata lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Quon clinches his opponent.  Quon throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Quon about fouling.  
Shibata throws a right hook, but Quon ties up his opponent.  Shibata pushes his forearm into Quon's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Quon is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Quon holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
