Max Hemphill vs Ye Yang

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/06/2039 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Max Hemphill (18 - 4) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Ye Yang(0 - 4) from Isfahan, Iran.  

Round 1: 

Yang pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Hemphill is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Hemphill voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Yang is whaling away with hooks, but Hemphill keeps his defence tight.  Yang lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.

Hemphill is looking to close the distance.  Yang sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yang tries to land a left uppercut, but Hemphill slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

Hemphill is on target with a jab.  Hemphill throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hemphill lands with a sharp jab.  
Yang throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Hemphill time to recover.  
Yang is on target with a left hook to Hemphill's body.  
Hemphill is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right uppercut into Yang's body.  
Yang lands a cross.  
Hemphill hits the target with a ramrod jab.
