Ian Edington vs Sean Saunders

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 23/06/2039 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Edington (29 - 2) who hails from Peterborough, UK and Sean Saunders(2 - 7(1)) from St. Petersburg, USA.  

Round 1: 

Saunders steps to the outside.  Edington tries to land a jab, but Saunders slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Edington gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Edington lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Edington pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Edington lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Edington pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Edington pivots to the right of his opponent.  Edington lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Edington tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Edington's body.  
Edington pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.

Edington closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Saunders throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Edington is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Saunders tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.
