Mike Malis vs Robert Whalen

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/06/2039 from Brisbane, Australia:

The Brisbane venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mike Malis (38 - 8) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Robert Whalen(1 - 1) from Canberra, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Malis advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook.

Malis steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Whalen is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Malis is looking to close the distance.  Malis sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Whalen tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Whalen is looking to keep his distance.  Malis lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Malis closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Malis walks Whalen into a neutral corner.  Malis lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Malis lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Malis snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Malis lands a right hook.  
Malis feints a jab, tricking Whalen into launching a left uppercut counter.  Malis springs the trap and counters with  a stinging right hook to Whalen's ribs.  
Malis feints a right, and then attempts to land a right hook, but Whalen slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Malis is on target with a cross.  
Malis is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Malis lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Malis lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.
