John Larrimore vs Santiago Mena

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/06/2039 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Larrimore (10 - 5) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Santiago Mena(2 - 4) from Zapopan, Mexico.  

Round 1:

Larrimore tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Larrimore finds the target with a jab.  
Mena forces Larrimore to retreat into the corner.  Mena is on target with a left uppercut.  
Larrimore lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Larrimore lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  Larrimore throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Larrimore is looking to keep his distance.  Larrimore feints a right hook, and then is on target with a cross.
