Phil Witherspoon vs Sancho Jaime

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/06/2039 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Phil Witherspoon (45 - 5) who hails from Houston, USA and Sancho Jaime(7 - 6) from Malaga, Spain.  

Round 1: 

Witherspoon feints a jab, tricking Jaime into launching a right uppercut counter.  Witherspoon springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Witherspoon lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Witherspoon throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Jaime closes the distance and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Witherspoon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Witherspoon hits home with a cross.  Witherspoon throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Witherspoon tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand left.  
Witherspoon attempts to land a jab, but Jaime parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Witherspoon steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.
