Roger Hughes vs Dylan Bevan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/07/2039 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roger Hughes (31 - 12) who hails from Bolton, UK and Dylan Bevan(3 - 9(1)) from Leicester, UK.  

Round 1:

Hughes steps to the outside.  Hughes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hughes is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Bevan lands a stiff jab.  
Hughes lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Hughes finds the target with a jab.  
Hughes steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp jab.

Bevan is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Hughes on the ropes.  Bevan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Hughes sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to Bevan's body.

Hughes sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Bevan lands with a stiff jab.  
Hughes feints a right hook, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Bevan closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Hughes lands a firm left hook.  
Bevan walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bevan connects with a cross.  
Hughes is looking to keep his distance.  Bevan hits home with an overhand left.
