Fanuco Zarco vs Xin Te

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/07/2039 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fanuco Zarco (5(1) - 0) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Xin Te(1 - 1) from Tianjin, China.  

Round 1: 

Te tries to land a jab, but Zarco sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Te advances into close range.  Zarco lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Zarco throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Te's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Zarco is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Zarco steps inside and connects with a solid left uppercut.  Zarco holds on to his opponent.  Te is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Te throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.

Zarco hits home with a sharp left hook.  Zarco holds on to his opponent.  Te leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Zarco pushes his forearm into Te's face.  The referee warns Zarco and breaks the clinch.  
Te closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Zarco clinches his opponent.  Zarco leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Zarco tries to keep the action at long range.  Zarco feints a jab, and then connects with a firm cross.  
Zarco is on target with a sharp jab.  
Zarco steps away from his opponent.  Te lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Te closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.

Zarco tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Zarco lands a solid overhand left.  
Te finds the target with a jab.  
Te closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Te lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Zarco hits home with a cross.  
Te is looking to close the distance.  Zarco digs in a sharp left hook to Te's body.  Zarco clinches his opponent.  Zarco leans on his opponent using all his weight. Te pushes his forearm into Zarco's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Te about fouling.
