Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/07/2039 from Las Vegas, USA:

The Las Vegas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are James Pate (2 - 1) who hails from Las Vegas, USA and Ian Beynon(1 - 1) from Wichita, USA.  

Round 1: 

Beynon cuts off the ring, trapping Pate on the ropes.  Pate is on target with a left hook to Beynon's body.  
Pate steps to the outside.  Pate feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right.  
Pate feints a cross, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Beynon tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Beynon steps inside and lands a stinging right hook.

Pate switches the action to the outside.  Pate feints a cross, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Pate sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Beynon tries to land an overhand left, but Pate sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pate's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Beynon manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Beynon throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Pate clinches his opponent.  Pate uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Beynon behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pate about fouling.  
Pate throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Pate hits home with an overhand right.  
Pate feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Beynon closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Pate on the ropes.  Beynon hits home with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Beynon's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Beynon cuts off the ring, trapping Pate in a neutral corner.  Beynon lands a sharp right hook.  
Beynon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.
