Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/07/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Barragan (28 - 4) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Mike Garis(3 - 2) from London, UK.  

Round 1: 

Barragan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Barragan circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Garis is on target with an overhand right.  
Barragan pivots from in front of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Barragan tries to keep the action at long range.  Barragan is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Garis throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Garis hits home with a sharp jab.  
Barragan lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Barragan closes the distance.  Garis is on target with a left hook to Barragan's body.  
Barragan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab.  
Barragan steps away from his opponent.  Barragan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Barragan lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Barragan closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Barragan walks Garis down, trapping him in the corner.  Barragan digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Barragan lands a left uppercut.  
Garis drives a firm left hook into Barragan's body.  
Barragan connects with a right hook.  
Barragan lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Barragan walks Garis down, trapping him on the ropes.  Barragan lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Barragan is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Barragan ties up his opponent.  Barragan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Barragan pushes his forearm into Garis's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Barragan to stop fouling.  
Barragan is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.
