Vince Monica vs Matthew Glaspie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2039 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vince Monica (66(25) - 14) who hails from Gainesville, USA and Matthew Glaspie(0 - 10) from Providence, USA.  

Round 1: 

Glaspie steps inside.  Monica lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Monica ties up his opponent.  Monica is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Monica about fouling.  
Monica closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Monica clinches his opponent.  Monica hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee warns Monica and breaks the clinch.  
The right shot from Monica could be enough to force the stoppage!  Monica lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND GLASPIE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Glaspie has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Glaspie pivots to the side of his opponent, but Monica lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  
Monica is on target with a left hook.  Monica clinches his opponent.  Monica uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Glaspie's kidney. 
Monica quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Glaspie attempts to land a right hook, but Monica dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Monica manages to force Glaspie into the corner.  Monica lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Monica manouvers Glaspie into a neutral corner.  Monica lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Monica lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Glaspie almost instantly recovers. 
Monica connects with a solid right hook.  
Monica hits home with a solid right hook.  
Monica connects with a left uppercut.  
Monica slams a spiteful left hook into his opponents body.  GLASPIE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Monica could be enough to force the stoppage!  Monica digs in a telling right hook to his opponents body.  GLASPIE IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Monica whips in a DEVASTATING right hook to his opponents ribs.  GLASPIE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE GLASPIE THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Monica!
