Mark Rhind vs Fumio Higa

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 03/08/2039 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Rhind (36 - 3) who hails from Chicago, USA and Fumio Higa(3 - 9) from Fukuoka, Japan.

Rhind is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rhind throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Rhind steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rhind feints a right, and then is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Rhind is on target with a jab.  Rhind attempts to land a cross, but Higa blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Higa connects with a right uppercut.  
Rhind lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Higa gets on the inside.  Rhind throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Rhind clinches his opponent.  Higa pushes his forearm into Rhind's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Higa.  
Higa pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rhind steps to the outside and finds the target with a hard jab.

Higa gets on the inside and manouvers Rhind into a corner.  Higa is on target with a right uppercut.  Rhind clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Rhind pushes his forearm into Higa's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rhind about fouling.  
Higa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Higa's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
