Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/08/2039 from Montreal, Canada:

The Montreal venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Williams (31 - 12) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Lyle Char(0 - 1) from Ottawa, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Char sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Char throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Char lands a cross.  
Williams lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Williams tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Williams gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Williams is looking to close the distance.  Char tries to land a right hook, but Williams slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Williams advances into close range and connects with a sharp right hook.  Williams holds on to his opponent.  Char pushes his forearm into Williams's face.  The ref breaks Williams's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Char steps to the outside.  Char quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Williams lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Char attempts to land a left hook, but Williams sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Char throws a left hook, but Williams clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Williams pushes his forearm into Char's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Williams about fouling.  
Williams lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Char steps away from his opponent.  Char sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Williams lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Char lands a left uppercut.  Williams holds on to his opponent.  Williams leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Williams walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Williams connects with a left uppercut.  Williams ties up his opponent.  Williams uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Char's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Williams lands a sharp right hook.  
Char waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Williams hits home with a cross.  
Williams steps inside.  Williams quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Williams lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Williams ties up his opponent.  Williams hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Williams digs in a sharp right hook to Char's body.  Williams clinches his opponent.  Char pushes his forearm into Williams's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
