Morgan Shawn vs Michael Ewens

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/08/2039 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Morgan Shawn (21 - 8) who hails from New York City, USA and Michael Ewens(6 - 17) from Pittsburgh, USA.

Shawn closes the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Ewens feints a cross, tricking Shawn into launching a right uppercut counter.  Ewens springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Shawn gets on the inside.  Shawn throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Ewens's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Shawn closes the distance.  Shawn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Ewens's body.  
Shawn connects with a solid cross.  
Shawn is on target with a left hook to Ewens's body.  
Shawn closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shawn steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Shawn gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Ewens hits home with a cross.  
Ewens cuts off the ring, trapping Shawn on the ropes.  Ewens pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Ewens lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shawn lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ewens throws a left hook, but Shawn clinches his opponent.  Shawn pushes his forearm into Ewens's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Shawn to stop fouling.

Ewens tries to step out of his opponents range.  Shawn lands a jab.  
Shawn lands a cross, jab and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Shawn advances into close range.  Ewens digs in a left hook to Shawn's ribs.  
Shawn is on target with a right hook.  Shawn clinches his opponent.  Ewens is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Ewens pushes his forearm into Shawn's face.  The ref breaks Shawn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
