The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joaquin Pastor (44 - 6) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Sancho Maria(1 - 2) from Salvador, Brazil.

Pastor is looking to close the distance and hits home with a solid right hook.  Pastor clinches his opponent.  Maria is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Maria to stop fouling.  
Pastor throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Pastor closes the distance.  Pastor pivots to the side of his opponent, but Maria is on target with a right hook.  
Pastor manouvers Maria onto the ropes.  Maria is on target with a left hook.  
Maria steps away from his opponent and is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Maria steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Pastor slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pastor is looking to close the distance.  Maria throws a left hook, but Pastor clinches his opponent.  Pastor leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
