Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/08/2039 from San Miguelito, Panama:

The San Miguelito venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Gig Sotelo (24 - 9) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Verlyn Manhanga(0 - 2) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Sotelo lands a left hook.  
Sotelo advances into close range.  Manhanga lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Sotelo gets on the inside.  Sotelo sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Manhanga drives a right hook into Sotelo's body.  Sotelo holds on to his opponent.  Manhanga throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Sotelo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sotelo lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Manhanga throws a left uppercut, but Sotelo ties up his opponent.  Sotelo pushes his forearm into Manhanga's face.  The referee warns Sotelo and breaks the clinch.
