Jose Carolus vs Toma Fattakhov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/08/2039 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jose Carolus (66(1) - 1) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Toma Fattakhov(29 - 21) from Toshkent, Uzbekistan.  

Round 1: 

Fattakhov gets on the inside.  Carolus lands a sharp left hook.  
Fattakhov lands a jab.  
Carolus switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Carolus lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Fattakhov advances into close range.  Carolus drives a right hook into Fattakhov's ribs.  
Fattakhov tries to land a jab, but Carolus sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Carolus steps away from his opponent.  Carolus sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fattakhov attempts to land a jab, but Carolus sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Fattakhov closes the distance and manages to force Carolus into a corner.  Carolus lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Carolus lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Carolus throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Carolus is on target with a jab.  
Fattakhov closes the distance.  Fattakhov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Carolus is on target with a left hook.  
Fattakhov walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Fattakhov is on target with a stinging left hook to Carolus's ribs.  
Carolus tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  Carolus attempts to land a jab, but Fattakhov sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fattakhov throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Carolus's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
