Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/09/2039 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dai Whitten (70(6) - 9) who hails from New York City, USA and Gareth Evans(1 - 1) from Chandler, USA.  

Round 1: 

Whitten gets on the inside and lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Whitten lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Whitten pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a stinging left hook to Evans's ribs.  
Evans drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Whitten finds the target with a solid jab.  
Evans walks Whitten onto the ropes.  Evans lands a firm left uppercut.  
Whitten quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Whitten is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Whitten lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Whitten hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Evans feints a cross, and then hits home with a cross.  
Whitten steps inside.  Whitten pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Whitten lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Whitten lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Whitten gets on the inside.  Whitten quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Evans's body.  
Whitten connects with a left hook.  
Whitten drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.

Evans tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  Evans attempts to land an overhand right, but Whitten sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Evans's ribcage.  
Whitten gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Whitten sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut.  
Whitten lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Whitten lands a left uppercut.  
Whitten is on target with a firm right uppercut to Evans's body.  
Whitten is on target with a right hook.  Whitten clinches his opponent.  Whitten pushes his forearm into Evans's face.  The referee warns Whitten and breaks the clinch.  
Whitten manouvers Evans into the corner.  Whitten lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Whitten holds on to his opponent.  Evans leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Whitten throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Whitten forces Evans to retreat into the corner.  Evans hits home with a left hook.  
Evans lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Evans attempts to land a left hook, but Whitten slips the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Whitten connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Whitten walks Evans down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Whitten is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Evans walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Whitten lands with a ramrod jab.  
Evans sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Whitten lands a stinging jab.  
Whitten is on target with a sharp right hook.  Whitten attempts to land a jab, but Evans slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Whitten closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Whitten drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Whitten ties up his opponent.  Whitten is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Whitten tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Evans's kidney. Evans is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Whitten cuts off the ring, trapping Evans in a corner.  Evans throws a right hook, but Whitten clinches his opponent.  Whitten throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Whitten.  
Whitten advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Whitten closes the distance.  Evans throws a right hook, but Whitten ties up his opponent.  Whitten is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Whitten lands a right uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Whitten lands with a ramrod jab.  
Evans walks Whitten onto the ropes.  Whitten hits home with a right hook.  
Evans sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Whitten tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Whitten gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS EVANS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Evans cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Whitten!
